SPAIN. MUZZLE ADAPTOR FOR M41 BOLO BAYONET

Steel adaptor enables the M41 Bolo bayonet to be fitted to the M43 mauser rifle as used by Spain during WW2. Fits into mortice slot on bayonet pommel. Blued finish with some wear but not rusted or pitted. In storage grease which can be easily removed with methylated spirit etc. Evidently there should be a small steel pin through the tiny hole in the side of the adaptor for permanent fitting to the rifle, but this is not present. The adaptor will still fit to the bayonet & the rifle. Photos show 2 adaptors and, for illustration purposes only, an adaptor actually fitted to a bayonet. HOWEVER this lot contains ONE ADAPTOR ONLY and does NOT include the bayonet !
