BRITISH WW1 HOLSTER

A rare example of a British revolver holster in 1914 pattern leather. Brown bark grained leaher with flap top secured by strap and brass stud. Top of flap fitted with a brass buckle and short strap to fit to belt or shoulder brace. Tunnel loop on rear. User's name part erased from inside of the flap. THis is NOT a standard regulation pattern holster, probably privately purchased but certainly of the WW! PERIOD. Will accept a 4 inch barrel revolver and possibly of Naval origian. Grade 8++
